The Chaudhary Devi Lal Herbal Nature Park is a well known research centre located in Yamunanagar and is a pride of this place. This research centre is situated in close proximity to the village of Chuharpur and was established on the day of 6th November in the year 2000. These plants have great medicinal value and form the foundation of Ayurvedic medicines. Also, there are trees like Simbal, Sheehsam, Teak and Khair available in abundance in this Herbal Nature Park.

This place also organizes frequent and regular training camps for farmers, to help them increase the yield of crops.  There is also a small lake, which has been made artificially and is fed with the water from the Western Yamuna Canal.

This lake has now become the hub of many migratory birds and during the winters, this place presents a breathtaking view with all forms of uncommon and colourful birds flocking this place. In order to promote tourism and to make this place friendlier for visitors, a children’s park has also been constructed here. This park also serves as great source of education and knowledge acquisition ground for the children, where they learn about the various medicinal plants and their uses.

This research centre is situated at a distance of 35 kilometers from the city of Yamunanagar and there are various means of transport available to reach this place. It is situated exactly on the Bhud Kalan road of the district of Yamunanagar and is in the Chuharpur Reserved Forest in the vicinity of Khizrabad. This Herbal Nature Park has an area of 184 acres. One can hire a taxi or can travel to this place in a bus. There are many travel agencies and private transport agencies, which provide cars and buses to travel to this place. There are State Transport buses available as well to travel to this Herbal Nature Park.
